Atelier25
Atelier25 is run by visual artist Anita Nakken Larsen. In her studio she creates different forms of art, ranging from the classic naturalist in oil on canvas, to abstract pictures in acrylic, etc . She also makes commissioned works.
Anita use only linen canvas and Old Holland oil- and acrylic painting.
Curriculum Vitae
Anita Nakken Larsen was born in Aalesund in 1965, and is now living in Oslo with her husband and two sons.
Anita has worked actively with paintings since the 1980s. She has been two years in the learning with the visual artist Quoc Tri Troung in Aalesund, and later one year in learning with the ceramist Elsama in Oslo, Norway, where she also worked as assistant. In addition, she has studied at Vika School of art in Oslo, Norway, and contiued there as assisting teacher after finishing her studies. In 2006, she attended a 5 week workshop with painter and former student of Odd Nerdrum, Carlos Madrid.
Anita works within many fields in the selection of both techniques and expressions, and are experimenting with both oil, watercolor, acrylic and charcoal.She has participated in a number of collective exhibitions, both in the east and west of Norway, and she has also had several separate exhibitions. After working a 4 year period from a studio at Skillebekk, downtown Oslo, she has now established her own studio, Atelier 25, in her home at Brenna in Oslo, Norway.
